Frequently asked questions
What European buyers and Armenian producers ask the desk, with short answers. For your own case, book a call with the desk.
The desk
What does Mouradian & Co do?
Mouradian & Co is a brokerage desk between Armenia and Europe. We find the producer, check them and run the deal from sample to delivery, with one accountable contact in Europe.

Do you sell the goods?
No. We hold no stock and never buy the goods. You sign the contract directly with the producer, at the FCA Yerevan price, and you pay the producer.
Who pays the desk?
The producer. The house earns a commission per unit, paid by the producer.
Which languages can we speak?
English, French, Armenian or Russian. You choose the language of the call when you ask the desk to call you back.

Buying
Are the catalog listings real offers?
Not yet as firm offers. The listings are illustrative: specifications and prices, indicative and FCA Yerevan, show the shape of an offer, not a quote.

What if my product is not in the catalog?
The catalog shows examples, not everything we can source. We look at every request, and if we cannot follow one (sanitary rules, origin, logistics), we tell you plainly.

How do samples work?
You ask for them from the catalog, by email or through your AI agent. The desk answers by email within one working day, with availability, specifications and a shipping date, then ships the samples in neutral packaging.

Why is the producer anonymous?
So that nobody gets around anybody. The producer is named once they have countersigned your registration form; their own photos come with it.
Can I visit the producer?
Yes, it is possible. The house travels to producers and buyers alike. Tell us what you want to see: the desk arranges the visit with the producer.

Producers
What does the desk cost a producer?
Nothing upfront if your products are export-ready: you pay a commission per unit shipped to a buyer we introduced. If they are not ready yet, we offer a fixed-price EU export diagnostic, credited against your future commissions.

Is my name protected?
Yes. Buyers see you anonymously until they are registered with you. You then sell directly, at your price, FCA Yerevan.
Documents and duty
What duty does the European buyer pay?
0% on most Armenian products from 10 October 2026 to 11 October 2028, under Regulation (EU) 2026/2269, provided the Armenian origin is proven. Wine is excluded: a bottled still wine stays at EUR 13.10 per hl, brandy was already at 0%, and eight lines, mostly fresh fruit, are at 0% only within an annual quota.

Which documents come with a lot?
A proof of origin (EUR.1 certificate or origin declaration on the invoice), the health or phytosanitary certificate, and the VI‑1 document for wine. With them: the lab report for the lot, the pre-shipment inspection report and the transport document.

Who clears customs and pays VAT?
At FCA Yerevan, the producer clears the goods for export and issues the proof of origin. You are the importer of record: main transport to the EU, import clearance, duty, VAT, excise and the sanitary checks at the EU border are yours. The risk passes to your carrier in Yerevan, so transport insurance is yours too; the desk points you to insurers and is not paid by them.
