Preferential origin
Also called: Rules of origin, direct transport
The origin that qualifies goods for a reduced or zero rate under an agreement or a preference such as Regulation 2026/2269. It follows Articles 59 to 70 of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2015/2446: a product wholly obtained in Armenia, such as honey from Armenian hives, qualifies as originating; a product that contains an imported material follows its list rule. The goods must also arrive by direct transport; transit through Georgia or Turkey is allowed under customs control.
